A Spring class of Diana Boyd Expressions in Oil painted a multitude of dog portraits which all turned out very lovely.  Consigned by Pam, she chose Susie Hoffman's portrait of her dog, "Rocky," to take home.

79ers Club met for the first time in November 2013 with a class taught by Kim Barrington.  This is a free class and art club for those born before 1935. Instructors and supplies are funded by auctions of donated artwork by local artists.

Third Annual Art, Wine, and Jazz on the Square in Copperopolis June 22, 2013

 

Along with over 30 vendors, the event featured George Allen Durkee painting Griff's Grill, Sunny Sorensen painting from life, Geneva Davis painting miniatures, and Judie Cain painting landscapes from the back parking lot.  Over $800 was raised by the Rotary Club raffle for an art scholarship for a Bret Harte student.  George donated money received from the above  painting and an additional painting of Griff's Corner for the raffle.  A big thank you to all the other artists who also donated art for the raffle.  The event was organized by Larry Hoffman of Town Hall Arts.
